“Some of life's greatest lessons can be learned in our deepest pain.” -Deb Terry

I found myself asking lots of questions when I first learned my dad had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. There were so many things I didn’t know about the disease and how to help my family care for my dad. Through our journey, I realized so many questions had been answered. I knew if I had questions, others traveling this journey would also, and I wanted to help them by sharing what I had learned. My friend, Dr. Jim Henry (former Sr. Pastor, First Baptist Church Orlando) also had questions as he cared for his wife who had Alzheimer’s. Together we have taken our experiences, the questions we had and what we learned to write this book, “What Now?”. My prayer is this book will be a practical guide to caregivers, offering, “help and hope” as you navigate this journey, knowing you’re not alone.

What Now?

Help and Hope for Caregivers, Family, and Friends

by Jim Henry and Deb Terry

From his pastor’s heart, Jim Henry anchors this excellent book with passages from God’s Word that will encourage the hearts of all those who travel alongside their loved ones struggling through the journey of Alzheimer’s disease, and offers heartfelt prayers of dependency upon the God of all comfort.
